Me-Made-May'12: Week Two

The weather has continued to be mostly bleak this week with the exception of some slightly brighter intervals. So you can take it as a given that I wore cardigans and a coat on all days, but I posed without them most days so you could actually see my me-makes! Oh and I upped the ante by doing for days instead of three...building up to a full house for 2013!!!

Tuesday 8 May

Skirt - ASOS
Shoes - River Island

I heart this outfit if I do say so myself! I usually pair this skirt with a black top, so I'm really pleased that I now have something brighter for it. And I'm over the moon that my Burda blouse looks good tucked in...not a total waste of time then!

Wednesday 9 May

Me-made - Basic Renfrew
Dress - Topshop
Shoes - Office

Not only do Renfrews look great with jeans, they are perfect for layering...and I do so love a bit of layering. I honsetly don't know what's going on with my weird flamingo pose though!?!

Friday 11 May

Me-made - My first Sorbetto
Jeans - Topshop
Cardi & Shoes - Primark

I love Sorbetto! That is all.

Saturday 12 May

Me-made - Scout Woven Tee
Jeans - ASOS
Belt - Primark
Shoes - Office

This top may well end up being the Sorbetto of 2012 for me - I love it both lose and cinched in, it's a real winner! It even looks good with frizzy hair...not ;o)

  1. Great selection of outfits - my me-mades are all a bit the same. It's good to get some inspiration from other people - I really must make a Sorbetto. Thanks for the sizing advice.

(I like your balcony pictures by the way)

    1. Thank you so much, I'm also very inspired by other people's outfits! The balcony is the only place with natural light that will work for my pictures, so I'm lucky to have one I guess!

    1. Thanks for your thoughtful comment! I have a variation because I was addicted to shopping before I starter sewing, but in truth my me-made wardrobe has many gaps I need to address ;o)

  20. Hello Marie,
I'm using your comments section again, forgive me. I'm at home and don't have your email address.

I've been working on my "schools catalogue" over the last week or so. Each year I send around 6000 copies to schools & colleges across the country.

One of my "new" product ranges is from the Colourcraft company. They make fabric paints etc.
Anyway, I'd like to find someone who enjoys producing textiles art and uses fabric paints and batiks etc. I'd supply them with selection of free products for them to use and blog about. It would help them, it would help me and it would help others.
So, if you know of anyone so inclined, please let me know.
    Regards
    Alan Bamber
