Me-Made-May'12: Week Three

Holy macaroni, how are we approaching the end of May so fast!?! I must say that I'm really getting into Me-Made-May and I have high hopes for next year! For now, I'm pleased that I managed another four days this week...

Wednesday 16 May

Me-made – Western Ginger
Top - H&M
Shoes - Primark

Have I told you how much I love my denim Ginger? I especially love it with this blouse!

Thursday 17 May

Me-made – Re-fashioned Pendrell
Jeans - ASOS
Shoes - Topshop

I think my Pendrell has shrunk a little in the wash, making the fit perfect...how jammy is that!?! It's such a smart little pattern!

Friday 18 May

Me-made – Nautical Collar
Dress - Primark
Belt - Vintage
Shoes - Office

So I like detachable collars, sue me! I felt a bit like I was in fancy dress, but life goes on!

Saturday 19 May

Me-made – Mad Men Dress
Coat - Dahlia
Shoes - Primark

This was a most awesome day as I got to meet up with Winnie and Catherine! It was a good call wearing this dress, as both my partners in (fabric shopping) crime were rocking their very own spectacular makes!

  1. Your me-made outfits are sooooo cute Marie!! I'm especially loving your floral Grainline T and the denim Ginger. And of course I love all your collars!! Well done you for achieving more than your pledge, and for being so good with your pictures - I'm failing miserably at photographing my outfits... So much so that I've pretty much given up. Thinking I'll just do a best of roundup type thing at the end of the month! x

    1. Thanks so much for your sweet comments! To be honest, photographing yourself isn't the biggest part of the challenge is it? So the fact that you're wearing self-made clothes this month surely is enough ;o) I love the idea of a roundup at the end of the month though!

  9. Gorgeous outfits as always! I can't believe May is nearly over. You have done really well with this challenge. I wish I had some maternity clothes I had made so I could take part. I want to sew some but I fear by the time I get my act together the pregnancy will be nearly finished.

    1. Thank you Kat and I love seeing updates on your bump! Have you looked at any Megan Nielsen maternity patterns? Some of the wrap-over tops seem fairly simple to make...?
