I wanted a simple summery top idea, to go with the Beignet i'm planning to sew next month, and this could work well. I have a great flowery fabric that would work with this too. I just finished mine today and although my voile is very sheer, it looks absolutely fine with a nude bra. If you do decide to line it, make sure it's with something very light so it doesn't interfere with the light, drapey nature of the top.

Justine, good to hear you're making progress! Nothing wrong with being careful, it probably means you'll end up with something really wearable and lovely!Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12632906323410997355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593765464158159022.post-4138942805359543502011-06-05T17:58:11.827+01:002011-06-05T17:58:11.827+01:00I'm just about to cut out a Sorbetto myself! ...I'm just about to cut out a Sorbetto myself! I have a sheer pink dotted Swiss type of thing. I'm trying to decide if I should line it or if I can get away with wearing really nude undergarments... I'm heading to Paris June 24th, so trying desperately to squeeze in time to fashion some cute summer clothes before the trip! Good luck with your remaining two pieces!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593765464158159022.post-11611274364398750012011-06-05T17:20:26.047+01:002011-06-05T17:20:26.047+01:00Nice to see your fandango voile plans. It's taking ages because I'm trying to be careful and do it properly! I'm also finding everyone's me-made-June posts really inspirational - as I am yet to even wear something I've made out of the house :pJustinenoreply@blogger.com
